A special day is coming up in Shelton to celebrate women.
Celebrate Shelton is the organizer of the upcoming Mamas & Mimosas event, a single day filled with experiences to honor women in Shelton. Mimosas are on the menu, as are live music, shopping, and more.
Among the special guests are Sally Russo, who will be conducting tarot card readings, and Anna Gardner, who will provide psychic readings. Several wellness workshop activities are scheduled, including a chair massage and a reiki energy session. Other wellness activities are a guided meditation to open the event, which is scheduled for 10.30 am and will be led by Nicole McGee, and a session on intimacy and wellness at 11.30, led by Jennifer Melville. Other activities are still to be announced, and Nicole McGee will return to lead a closing guided meditation at 2.30 pm.
In addition, Caitlin Iannucci, an art therapist, will have two sessions – at 11.00 am and 1.15 pm.
Mamas & Mimosas is scheduled for Saturday, May 6 from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm at Adam’s House on Coram Avenue. VIP tickets are available and include exclusive admission (at 9.30 am), a gift card for Marks of Design, early access to registration for services, two tickets for complimentary drinks, and a swag bag of coupons and samples of beauty products.
The event is open to the public, and a $10 donation is suggested. Organizers of events like this can use flyer printing to create a handout that includes a schedule for attendees.
