A popular event is returning to Shelton, dressed for autumn.
Food Trucks Along the River is now in its 11th year, and the popular event, which took place in May, has now expanded to include a “Fall edition.” The event will include over 25 food trucks, local vendors and artisans, and a mobile bar. Live music, a Pop-Up Circus, and more entertainment is on the schedule.
The centerpiece of the event is clearly the food. Some trucks will be on site both days, while others will only be there either Friday or Saturday.
The lineup thus far includes Tuttimango, Tots Brats and Hots, Texmex Fusion Food Truck, Paradise Island, Mima’s Kitchen, Dad's Cannoli Truck, and Awesome Sauce Caribbean Food. These trucks will be at the festival on both days, and there is room for more.
Trucks that will be there only on Friday include Wandering Agave, Szabo’s Seafood, and Moffie Sistas Catering.
Bella Maria Pizza will be there only on Saturday.
Westchester Circus Arts Pop-Up Circus showcases traditional acts like juggling, acrobats, magic, and aerial performers.
This extravaganza of food and fun is scheduled for September 12, from 5.00 pm until 10.00 pm, and September 13 from 11.00 am until 8.00 pm, at Veterans Memorial Park, 38 Canal Street East. The circus performs twice on September 13, at 1.00 pm and 4.00 pm. Colorful Posters, which organizers can find at Print shops, are often used to advertise events like this.
