Summer brings new opportunities to get outside, learn, and have fun.
The Sports Center of Connecticut recently announced its schedule for Kids Kamp Summer 2021, and opened registration for the season.
Kids Kamp is certified by the state, and offers a number of activities, flexible scheduling, and indoor and outdoor events so there is something to do even if it rains. People can sign their children up for a week, several weeks, or the entire summer. Every week is designed around a different theme, so that the youngsters are always entertained and engaged.
Every day indoor activities include bowling; ice skating, which is open to the public; Lazer tag; and an arcade. Outdoors, children can enjoy target paintball; batting cages; a mini-golf course with 18 holes; and a driving range. Arts and crafts activities are also available, and there are “add on” options. These include adding on Fridays, as well as fitness, skating, snacks, and lunches.
There are three sessions each day: morning, from 8.30 am until 11.30 am; fitness from 12.00 pm until 2.00 pm; and afternoon from 2.30 pm until 5.30 pm. The counselors are experienced in working with young people and will guide them through the events and activities.
The first camp begins June 14 at the Sport Center, which is on River Road. Flyer printing can be used to create schedules for participants in programs like this.
