Next week, Celebrate Shelton is hosting Food Trucks on the River.
More than 25 food trucks from the area are set to arrive, with live music featuring Benny Mikula/The Lone Gnome getting things underway. This will be followed by a children's costume parade before acoustic duo Tracy Jo and The Toads plays live. After that, Big Boy Entertainment will host a dance party with a DJ.
According to Celebrate Shelton's co-creator Michael Skrtic, the organization is happy to bring more free and fun family activities in the downtown area. Fellow Celebrate Shelton co-creator Nicole Heriot-Mikula added that the food vendors invited are some of the best in the state. There will also be a beer garden, with New England Brewing Company beer as the special mention of the night. In addition, families will be able to paint pumpkins. All of the earnings of the event will benefit Adam's House.
Celebrate Shelton presents other events such as Holiday Community Tree Lighting and Downtown Sounds Summer Concerts and Food Trucks. Adam's House gives grief education and support for families and kids.
Food trucks are likely to have their own Logo Design to make their brand stand out. The logos can go on Menus and on the truck.
The event will be held at Veteran's Memorial Park at 4:00 pm next Friday, October 19. If it rains, the event will reschedule to October 26.
