Shelton meeting to discuss projects and leadership

The Southern New England Chapter of the Project Management Institute is hosting a breakfast meeting for the Shelton area.

SNEC-PMI will meet in the conference room on the first floor of Iroquois Gas. The building is located at 1 Corporate Drive in Shelton. Guests can buy breakfast and coffee at nearby Enterprise Deli.

The theme of the round table meeting is Improving Project Team Performance. Joseph Carfagno, an IT project specialist with more than two decades of experience, will lead it. His specialty is company financial systems, and guests with questions can email him at joseph.carfagno@snec-pmi.org.

The meeting will discuss completing projects more efficiently. Professionals use Kaizen for processing but there are various solutions for creating a more efficient team. It will discuss tools, lessons, techniques, team management, and inspiration.

The meeting will begin at 7:30 am on Friday, January 3. Guests will spend 30 minutes registering, settling in, and getting to know each other, and should be sure to bring plenty of Business Cards. The presentation will start at 8:00 am followed by a discussion until 9:00 am.

The cost to attend is free for members of SNEC and $10 for nonmembers. To attend free of charge, members must register after logging into the website. Nonmembers can pre-register or pay at the door. Registration ends at midnight on January 1.
