Winter in Connecticut can be brutally cold, particularly for those without adequate heat. An upcoming event will help keep them warm.
Keeping Milford Warm has worked tirelessly for over eight years, advocating for those in the area who are in need. After being side-lined for a year by the pandemic, the organization is now planning its 8th Annual Holiday Benefit Dinner in support of its efforts.
In addition to a meal, the event includes passed appetizers, a two-hour long open bar, door prizes, raffles, live music, and both a live auction and a silent auction. The evening will help Keeping Milford Warm raise money to help those who need assistance obtaining electric power, gas, and home heating oil during the winter. Attractive programs outlining the mission of organizations such as Keeping Milford Warm can be created using brochure printing and distributed at events like this.
Keeping Milford Warm was founded in 2013 with the single goal of raising the funds needed to purchase heat for those in need. The dinner is the main fundraising event of the year.
Tickets are on sale now and are $65 each. Purchasers are requested to list the names of those who will be seated at the same table. The dinner is set for December 11, from 6:30 pm until 11:00 pm, at the Grassy Hill Country Club. The club is in Orange, just a short distance from Shelton.
