An upcoming event will give beer lovers a chance to enjoy their favorite beverage as they raise money for a good cause.
Bad Sons Beer Company is teaming up with Smoke in the Valley to host the returning 'Brewers Ball' Home Brew Festival. People who attend the event will be able to sample more than 60 beers of various types, as well as voting in a People’s Choice Competition. In addition to the great beer, people will have a chance to play games, shop at artisan vendors, and grab something to eat from several food trucks.
Tickets to the festival include admission, unlimited samples, a souvenir tasting cup, and a ballot to use to cast a vote for the People’s Choice prize. Participating breweries (thus far) include Mundo Ales, Brewo Duo, Malpractice, Paddy Pats Rocket Ship Brewery, Flying Leap, G^2 Brewing, Twelve Gods, Fallen Timbers, Engineered Beer Works, and Flat Rate.
The event will go ahead rain or shine, and no refunds will be issued unless organizers cancel the ball. When events like this are planned, organizers can use flyer printing to create a flyer for attendees listing the brews available and information about them.
The festival is set for Saturday, April 15 at Bad Sons Brewery, which is in Derby, a short distance from Shelton. The Brewers Ball is a benefit for the Seymour CARES, which stands for Coco’s Animal Rescue Efforts of Seymour.
