Event for creatives scheduled near Shelton

Three of the biggest creative organizations in Connecticut are organizing an event for creative people.

The Connecticut Art Directors Club (CADC), the American Society of Media Photographers – Connecticut (ASMP CT), and the American Institute of Graphic Arts – Connecticut (AIGA CT) are teaming up to host Fall Fusion, an evening of networking and fun especially for art directors, photographers, and designers. The purpose of the gathering is to strength the state’s creative community by bringing people together from various parts of the industry. Events like this are the perfect place for people to exchange Business Cards.

Not only with creative people from throughout the state have a chance to discuss opportunities and their industry, a cornhole competition is also planned. Teams will be randomly assigned unless two people let organizers know they have already formed a team. There will be prizes for the winners of First, Second and Third Place.

The party will be held outdoors at Bad Sons Brewery on Roosevelt Drive in Derby, less than a mile from Shelton. Tickets include one complimentary craft beer, and pizza freshly made from Roselands Apizza will be available at a discount.

Organizers ask that anyone who has not been vaccinated bring a face covering and wear it during the event. The organizers also say that anyone registering for the event will have given their agreement to follow both state and federal health guidelines.

The party is scheduled for September 15 from 6.30 pm until 9.30 pm.
