15-year-old to perform at local comedy night

Comedy is on the menu in Derby, a short distance from Shelton, and one of the performers is still a teenager.

The Twisted Vine will be the venue for a comedy night next week. The host is Pat Oates of Chaz & AJ, heard on WPLR. James Adinolfi, and Elliott Lonergan, who is only 15, will perform, with Dave Sheehan as the headliner.

Connecticut-based Dave Sheehan has been entertaining people for several years with material suitable for all audiences. He enjoys doing stand-up, but when he is not on stage in clubs, he participates in competitions, festivals, and featured events. He has appeared in both the Connecticut Comedy Festival and the NYC Underground Comedy Festival. He has been a regular on PPRN Radio for a considerable time, and made it to the finals of the competition for “Funniest Comic in Connecticut.” A review says:

“Dave Sheehan is a fabulous comedian. . . . I have seen Dave with many audiences, different demographics, he engages the audience in every show, always a crowd favorite.”

Comedy Night is April 5, beginning at 7.30 pm. The Twisted Vine is at 285 Main Street in Derby. People are advised to buy their tickets online, and then contact the restaurant to reserve a table. Dinner and drinks will be available throughout the show, but anyone who would like to arrive early and eat before the show begins is welcome to do so. When organizers plan events like this, they will often use flyer printing to create handouts for local distribution.
