Rowayton holds third annual Porch Jam
Porches along Norwalk’s Rowayton Avenue will be hosting a total of25 bands for the Junior Art & Music Inc. 3rd annual Porch Jam 2022 in mid-June.
Proceeds will go to building a site for music and art enrichment for Greater Norwalk’s underserved communities.
Band performances will be staggered throughout the afternoon, so attendees and participants can walk or bike to multiple homes. One Americana singer and songwriter duo, AnnaLyse and Ryan, will be at Pickney Park, 177 Rowayton Avenue from 5:00 pm to 6:00 pm.
General admission will be $45, $25 for students, and $10 for children of 11 years old and under.
A VIP PorchJam Kickoff Party from 11:30 am to 1:00 pm will be at Sarah Balsley’s waterfront home which overlooks Farm Creek Reserve. Tangled Vine will give a concert. Guests will be able to fill their portable PorchJam mason jars with cocktails created by a mixologist from The Vintage Horse, and nibble on light bites. Guests will also receive swag with items featuring the PorchJam graphic design. Single VIP tickets are $150 and VIP couples’ tickets are $275.
Parking will be available on Rowayton Avenue’s Old School Field, Bayley Beach, Rowayton Elementary School, and behind Sails Bar and Grill.
Five sponsorships are available, ranging from Roadie sponsor for $500 to Drop the Mic for $5,000.
PorchJam will take place Saturday, June 11 from noon to 6:00 pm.
