What's Happening in Norwalk, CT…

Norwalk has new Halloween festival

All Norwalk ghosts, goblins, and those just looking for a good Halloween time are invited to attend the first annual Halloween Nightfair on Washington Street, which is coming at the end of October.

On the first night, guests can expect live music, spooky tableaux, and enchanting performances like magic acts, magicians, contortionists, and other circus performers. The Hocus Pocus Sanderson Sisters and the Nightmare Before Christmas’s Jack Skellington and Sally will be meeting and greeting guests. Divine Station will be giving tarot card readings, little ones may go trick-or-treating going from one business to the next, and there will be a costume contest. The scream contest will surely add to the haunting aura of the event.

From 11:00 am to 4:00 pm the next day, the event will be a little less intense with themed brunch bites, a pet costume parade, and more trick-or-treating. A local DJ will play tunes of the season, and everyone may dance to Monster Mash and other spooky songs.

On both days, eclectic vendors will be selling edible, non-edible, dark, cute, spooky, weird, random, and unique items in a Halloween marketplace.

Vendors that attend Halloween events like this often get orange and black custom business cards made featuring bats, cats, jack-o-lanterns, and witches.

Halloween Nightfair on Washington Street will be held Saturday, October 28 from 5:00 pm to 10:00 pm and Sunday, October 29 from 11:00 am to 4:00 pm at 50 Washington Street Plaza and Washington Street.
