Norwalk goes on a hunt
Norwalk Now is all set to hold a Norwalk City Hunt.
Individuals and teams of up to four members will go on an interactive race following the “amazing race” style scavenger hunt format. NCH swag will include promotional products, coupons and giveaways.
The race will take participants through SoNo and Wall Street neighborhoods searching for clues, completing challenges and performing tasks that will eventually reveal where the secret after-party will be held.
The participants will be guided by information on the City Hunt phone app. Evidence of successful completion of each activity will be photographed or recorded on one of the team members’ phone, and City Hunt officials will be monitoring progress at the event’s home base. Participating teams can run, walk, or catch the Norwalk Now Circulator Van to get from one neighborhood to another.
Destinations along the route will be public areas, Norwalk Now supporters and businesses such as local print shops.
Once every team has found the secret location, prizes including a $500 prize package containing Norwalk Now gift cards, and multiple gift bundles for free parking will be awarded to the winning teams.
Norwalk City Hunt is slated for tomorrow, April 28 from 1:30 am until 3:00 pm, starting at O’Neill’s Pub and Restaurant, 93 North Main Street, South Norwalk. The hunt will be from 10:30 am until 1:00 pm and the After Party will follow from 1:00 until 3:00 pm.
