Norwalk children pop into bubbles
Children in Norwalk still have time to enjoy a day of bubbles activities at the Stepping Stones Museum for Children.
This is a chance for kids to have sensory experiences, develop their motor skills and learn about properties of air, liquid, color, shape, size and reflection.
Every day until Sunday, kids can go to Bubble Central in the museum. Some bubble balls will be so big that little ones can bounce around in them. Others called big jelly bubbles are just right for sitting. There will be bubble making stations, bubble beach balls, and bubble games.
Bubble art will include bubble painting, rainbow bubble snakes and bubble wands that the kids can make.
This Thursday, July 18th, everyone is invited to attend Mr. Bungles Bubble Station at 10:30am or at 12:30pm. Mr. Bungles will have kids playing with and being part of bubble making experiences.
On Sunday, July 21 at 11:00am and again at 1:00pm, there will be a Bubble Trouble Show with Jeff Boyer. He uses bubbles to teach physics in an amusing, interactive show that includes a bubble volcano, roller coaster, sculpting, juggling, and building fog-filled bubbles.
When entertainers come to events such as this one, they usually carry business cards to pass out to interested parents. Parents can then get in touch with them for parties or school functions.
Bubble Week is currently happening at the museum until July 21.
