March events support children charities
In March, LivFree will host its 2nd Annual Gala for Gold. This will be a fundraiser for a local organization that provides funding for families with children who are fighting cancer. The funds will go to seeing that they get an outing or go to an event that will get them away from treatment for a little while.
The evening will begin with registration at 6:00 pm. Following that from 6 until 7:15, there will be a silent auction, cocktails and hors d’oeuvres. Music and dinner will begin at 7:30 after which a series of speakers will relate their stories and tell about the accomplishments of the organization.
Gala for Gold will be held at the Shorehaven Golf Club at 14 Canfield Avenue on Saturday March 9th from 6 pm until 10 Pm EST. Individual tickets are $150 each and tables of ten tickets ae $1500. Cocktail attire will be required.
Stamford will have a Foundation of Hope Charity Kickoff March 15th form 6 pm until 9 at Residence Summer Street, 14 2nd Street. The event will be an evening of dancing, live performances, hors d’oeuvres and an art auction. This will be the formal kick off for the foundation’s fundraising season. The funds go to children and educational needs such as medical assistance, humanitarian aid and disaster relief. Tickets will be $150 each.
