Chamber holds benefit and annual golf classic
The Greater Norwalk Chamber of Commerce will hold its annual Benefit Dress for Success fundraiser in May, and its 2022 Chamber Golf Classic in late June.
Dress for Success Mid-Fairfield County will hold its Purse-suit of Success Annual Fundraiser cocktail party. This is to raise funds for its mission of helping women find employment by providing career development programs, support network, and professional attire. The event will include a silent auction and its traditional premier purse auction.
The gala will take place Tuesday, May 10 from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm at the Boca Oyster Bar, 10 E. Main Street, Bridgeport. Supporters of fundraisers like this occasionally use flyer printing to get the word out.
Also coming up is this 2022 Chamber Golf Classic, where single golfer registration will be $375, and foursomes will be $1,500. Green or tee sponsorships are $200 each, while matching green and tees are $400 each. Mulligans (free shots) are three for $25. Raffle tickets can be purchased for $20 for one, $50 for five, or $100 for twenty.
Check-in for the golf classic will begin at 10:30 am. That will be followed by a buffet lunch from 11:00 am to 12:15 pm. The shotgun start will be at 12:30 pm with heavy hors d-oeuvres and an open bar from 5:00 pm to 7:30 pm.
