Summer activities fair to be held near Parker

Residents of Parker, Castle Rock, Lone Tree, and Highland Ranch will not want to miss the upcoming Macaroni Kid Douglas County Summer Camp and Activities Fair to be held next month.

Such events are often promoted throughout a county with poster printing.

The fair is designed to be the singular place for families to meet face-to-face with those running summer activities and camps and other summer opportunities in Douglas County. The event is free and open to the public and will feature camps suitable for all ages up to 18 years old.

The Colorado Code Camp, one of the sponsors of the fair, will have a booth for learning more about their unique Minecraft Adventure Camps where kids will complete challenges and impressive pursuits and work together to build a town. They will also discuss their Scratch Coding Camp for learning how to program robots, controllers, and video games.

Other sponsors of the fair include Parker Parks and Recreation, Parker Arts, the Douglas County Libraries, and Children’s Hospital Colorado.

Attendees are encouraged to bring a school supply to donate to the Foundation for Douglas County Schools.

The fair will be on Sunday April 5 from 10:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. at CU South Denver in Lone Tree. Attendees will have complimentary to the museum galleries and exhibits of CU South Denver for the day.
