Downtown Parker holds festival for 50th year

The 50th Anniversary Parker Days Festival will take place in downtown Parker in mid-June.

Hosted by the Parker Chamber Foundation, the community festival will be free and will feature a free kids' craft area, games, inflatables, bungee jumping, and more than 50 rides at Carnival Hill. Local artisans will be giving demonstrations, and more than 200 vendors will be in the marketplace. Guests may choose from more than 25 food vendors, while wine, beer, and specialty drinks will be located at drink stations around the venue.

Live music performances will be taking place on four stages with the headliners on the Main Music Stage on Friday, Saturday, and Sunday. Some on the Main Stage will include ‘90s and ‘00s tunes, yacht rock, and an Eagles tribute band. A free pancake breakfast will take place from 8:00 am to 9:30 am.

The Backyard Paradiso East Music Stage will feature classic country rock, disco and soul, Motown, R&B, hip-hop, funk, a Prince tribute band, jazz, and Latin rock. Meanwhile, the CORE Electric Cooperative Community Stage will feature local performing groups and buskers will be milling through the crowds.

Hometown festivals like this often get banner printing done at local printing services and place Banners around town a few weeks before the festivities take place.
