Parker's Affinity Ranch will be holding its annual Holiday with Horses.
Holiday with Horses will be a family-friendly afternoon with horses and small animals, and if like the last few years, all decked out in their Christmas finery ready for picture opportunities. Along with the animal encounters, guests may greet Children's Author Natasha Wing the author of the Night Before series, biographies and joke Books and listen as she shares some of her stories. There will be treats and crafts, and seasonal activities for the children, and the Legend High School Choir will be spreading Christmas cheer by singing holiday songs.
Santa will be meeting the kids and posing for pictures, so parents will want to bring phones or cameras.
Photos with Santa often go to local printing services to be included in Christmas family newsletters and personalized Christmas cards.
Admission will be $35 for families and $10 per individual guests.
Affinity Ranch has 18 horses, 3 goats and assorted cats, bunnies and chickens that are part of the ranch's animal-assisted and equine therapies, vocational training, recreational activities and mental health programs.
Organizers suggest wearing layers of clothing and gloves to keep warm as this event will be totally outside.
Holiday with Horses will take place Saturday, December 13th from 1:00 pm to 4:00 pm at Affinity Ranch, 11892 Hilltop Road.
