The western end of Mainstreet in Parker will be upgraded with a new public plaza that will have several new restaurants and retail shops.
Known as the West End on Mainstreet project, it will have a boutique hotel with 51 rooms, named the Laszlo Hotel, as its anchor. Expected to be completed by August 1, 2019, there will be five restaurants in the hotel, offering gourmet burgers, a breakfast and lunch diner, an oyster bar, steak and seafood, and a taproom, and a grill.
The interior of the hotel will have the look and feel of the Casablanca era, yet have all the modern conveniences of other hotels.
Owner and CEO of Mars Hospitality LLC (the ownership group of the Lazlo), Mike May, commented that his company is excited about bringing these new entertainment and dining options to downtown Parker. Along with the other dining and retail options on historic Mainstreet, people can remain in Parker to enjoy the many choices that will soon be available to them.
A special Salute to Community Service night will be held by the hotel prior to its opening. Charities and nonprofits will have a few dozen rooms made available to them for auctioning off for fundraising efforts.
