Parker to become mecca for local artists

The Parker Artists Guild will be presenting Art in the Park later this month.

To be held in O’Brien Park, Art in the Park will display many Forms of creativity, including drawing, painting in a wide variety of media, photography, woodworking, and glass art.

As an event for the entire family, there will also be activities for children, such as an art station at which they can create their own art projects, and a face-painting booth. Food will be available for purchase and music will also be a part of the event.

The Parker Artists Guild, which includes artists who work in all media from Parker, Aurora, Castle Rock, Highlands Ranch, and other local communities, sponsors the event. As a registered 501c(3) non-profit organization, the Guild holds many exhibits, educational workshops, and other events to promote all Forms of fine art, as well as scholarships in the sector.

Art in the Park is a tradition in the town of Parker, and although residents may be aware of the event, the Guild would most likely benefit from the use of poster printing services to further promote it in the town and throughout neighboring communities.

It will be held from 10:00 am until 5:00 pm on Saturday, August 27, and from 10:00 am until 4:00 pm on Sunday, August 28.
