Parker learns how to act

There will be a series of improv classes starting in May.

The fundamentals of improv comedy will be explored in a six-week class presented by The Parker Players. These sessions will explore a unique artform that helps individuals build self-confidence and discover their inner comedian while learning. During each weekly class, students will learn new principles of improvisation while bonding with their classmates.

This class is suitable for all levels of experience, whether someone is seeking a starter course, looking to revise what they have learned before, or wanting to better their ability to be confident and speak publicly. The instructor for the course will be Grant Garrison, He has been teaching for more than 15 years and is a founder of The Parker Players Improv Theater Company. He also graduated from Second City Conservatory for Improv Actors in Chicago

The cost to attend the classes is $195. Tickets may be bought through the Eventbrite listing. Print shops may be a useful tool for organizers to use in creating props for individuals at events such as this one.

The class series will be taking place on Saturdays, with the first of them on May 6. They will start at 10:00 am and will end at 12:00 pm at Parker Arts, Culture & Events Center on 20000 Pikes Peak Avenue, Parker.
