The Town of Parker invites everyone to this year's Parker Fall Fest coming in late September.
Local children can get their faces painted and participate in a street hockey program "Game On" compliments of Colorado Avalanche. Scarecrows will be leading lawn and table games, and other activities will include an inflatable corn maze, a rock-climbing wall and carnival games. The Foundation Supporting Cherry Creek Valley Rotary will host a beer garden, and adults may also enjoy the axe-throwing booth. Food vendors will be selling seasonal snacks and drinks.
Teenagers may opt to try their technical skills at the interactive drone activity. There they can design drone shows and see their results fly.
The 5280s Band will provide music for the evening, and a Drone Light Show over the park will begin at 7:30 pm.
This year's Parker Fall Fest will take place September 27th from 4:00 pm to 7:00 pm in O'Brien Park, 10795 Victorian Drive.
The Prowl for Pumpkins contest will be in full swing with Parker residents discovering pumpkins using pumpkin finding clues placed on Signs around town. When pumpkins are found, contest participants take selfies of them and themselves to enter a raffle for prizes. The contest will run from September 21st until September 28th.
Towns that support events like these often have pictures taken during the events. These photos often go to local Print shops for duplicates for town newsletters, annals and to put in local government buildings.
