The Colorado Veterans Project will be presenting its 2025 Freedom Festival here in Parker in early August. The event has been organized to celebrate Colorado Day and the state's 150th anniversary.
Festivities will begin with a Freedom Fest 5k run/walk, as well as 10k and 15k “Ruck Runs.” Participants in the races will get race shirts and those finishing the 10k or the 15k Ruck Run will get commemorative medals. Other perks will include access to the Freedom Festival Music Arena to see 6 Million Dollar Band playing ‘80s oldies at 10:00 am, and admission to the beer garden.
Race organizers often have local printing services create a logo or graphic and Print it on event T-Shirts.
The races will begin at 7:00 am for the 15k, 7:30 am for the 10k, and 7:45 am for the 5k at 11920 N Motsenbocker Road. The festival will open at 9:00 am and will feature, food, music, games, vendor booths and veterans' resource tables.
Proceeds from the festival will go to support Colorado Veterans Project and its mission to aid veterans and transitioning service members in finding meaningful employment.
Colorado Veterans Project's 2025 Freedom Festival will take place from 9:00 am to 2:00 pm on Saturday, August 2nd at the polo field in Salisbury Equestrian Park, 11920 N. Motsenbocker Road. Registration fees start at $48.95 for the 5k.
