The town of Parker invites everyone to celebrate autumn in downtown Parker towards the end of September.
The weeklong event will feature a hay bale maze, and Prowl for Pumpkins - a pumpkin scavenger hunt where participants follow on sign after another to reach the hidden pumpkin. Names of those who submit selfies with the pumpkin will be entered into a contest for prizes.
Scavenger hunt participants often take pictures of them completing the hunt to local Print shops to be added to family newsletters and yearly Calendars.
On Saturday, September 21, Sam the Scarecrow and his friends will be manning activities from noon to 4:00 pm. There will be lawn and giant table games, and the chance to touch a snowplow. Winners from the snowplow naming contest will be announced.
Fun and Games Day on September 28 will have a rock climbing wall, carnival games, food vendors, a live band, lawn games, walk-around characters and a Colorado Avalanche Street hockey game for kids. Adults can enjoy axe throwing and a beer garden. A Drone Light Show will begin at 7:15 pm.
Kids from kindergarten through sixth grade may submit designs before August 23, with the winning entry becoming part of the Drone Light Show.
Parker Fall Fest will take place September 21 to 28 in downtown Parker. Local businesses interested in sponsoring this event may contact the town's event coordinator.
