Parker Days are here again

The 49th annual Parker Days Festival will be coming to the area in mid-June.

Admission will be free for this four-day event. The Main Stage and the East Music Stage will feature blues, jazz, rock and roll, Americana, modern, classic and alt rock, and show tunes. Tribute bands will be celebrating names like Bob Segar, Pink, Journey, and Led Zeppelin.

Festivities will include three food courts selling everything from crepes, funnel cakes, pizza, kettle corn, and ice cream, to lobster rolls and tacos.

A marketplace will feature more than 200 artists, and a carnival will bring more than 45 rides. Activities will include free kids' crafts, inflatables, bungy jumping, an inflatable human hamster maze, and a mechanical bull. Buskers will be performing around town, and The East Music Stage Beer Garden will hold an Axe Throwing Challenge.

The carnival will be open at various times from the Thursday to the Sunday. Unlimited ride wristbands will be available for those wanting to make the most of it.

This year's Parker Days Festival will take place 4:00 pm to 10:30 pm on Friday, June 13; 10:00 am to 10:30 pm on Saturday, June 14; and on Sunday, June 15 from 10:00 am to 8:30 pm in Downtown Parker.
