PACE Center offers cruise and musical revue

The Parker Arts Culture and Events Center (PACE) has scheduled two events on a weekend in mid-May - Parker Symphony Orchestra: Disembark at the Americas and the musical revue Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway.

To close this year's season and to celebrate the 30th anniversary of the orchestra, the Parker Symphony Orchestra will present an evening of familiar American music and Latin American rhythms with its Disembark at the Americas program.

Guests will be treated to the Overture to the School for Scandal by Barber, Pops Hoedown by Hayman, and Wood Notes by Grant-Still. Transitioning to music representing south of the border, the orchestra will continue the evening with El Salon Mexico by Copeland, Huapango by Moncayo, Liberttango by Piazzolla and Marquez's Danzon #2.

Disembark at the Americas will be performed Friday, May 17th beginning at 7:30 pm at the PACE Center, 20000 E Pikes Peak Avenue. Tickets begin at $29.

Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway will bring a cast of original stars in a musical revue recreating their most memorable songs from Broadway shows over the last century. Along with hits from classics like Les Miserables, the Phantom of the Opera, Jesus Christ Superstar and CATS, composer/lyricist Mr. Berg has also included songs from new hit shows.

These hit Broadway shows have generated some iconic poster printing over the years.

Neil Berg's 100 Years of Broadway will be shown Sunday, May 19th beginning at 6:30 pm. Tickets begin at $44.
