Children's race to be held in Parker

A children-focused triathlon will be held in Parker this July.

The event, titled ‘Kid’s Try-athlon’ takes place in honor of children of varying abilities coming together in friendly competition. It is open to those between the ages of six and twelve. The occasion focuses on children trying, not competing.

The triathlon consists of three events, which will be a swim, run, and a biking event. Each heat for these three events will vary by category, and will be assigned to children across three age groups – six to seven, eight to ten, and ten to twelve years. Information on the distances for each category will be available on the event’s listing.

The race packet for each participant will include race bibs, an event t-shirt, and an event bag. These are available at the check-in, which will begin 30 minutes before the event’s official start time. Specifics regarding the choice of shirt size can be indicated during the sign-up process.

The cost for registration will be $35 per child. Options for registration are also available on the event’s listing. There will be a $5 increase for registration after July 1. Graphic design can be a great way to create an appropriate Logo Design for events like this one.

This event takes place on July 15 at the H2O’Brien Pool, which is at 10795 Victorian Drive, Parker. Check-in begins at 6:30am.
