La Palma shoppers looking for unique products have two opportunities coming up to find those special items.
The Westminster Mall in Westminster, a few miles from La Palma, is the site of an upcoming market known as Off the Road. The market will be held in the open, and is a space where shoppers can meet creators and makers, and add to their collections. The items, most of them handmade, include everything from soap to upcycled goods, while local food trucks will be on hand to offer distinctive flavors, and bands will provide live music.
Due to ongoing health concerns, and to make sure everyone has a safe and healthy experience, organizers have implemented regulations, which they will be enforcing. First, masks or other face coverings are required and will be worn at all times. Second, people will maintain a minimum six-foot distance from one another. Finally, hand sanitizer stations will be set up and people are encouraged to use them frequently.
There are several opportunities to attend the market. The next event is set for February 21 with the next date March 21. The hours are from 11:00 am until 4:00 pm both days, and parking is free, as is admission. Flyer printing is often used to create handouts for attendees at events like this. The handouts can list the vendors taking part and where to find them, as well as identifying the entertainers.
