La Palma’s Concerts in the Park series of musical performances is returning to La Palma Central Park this summer.
The family-friendly events, which also has free admission and free parking, bring music to fill the night, as well as food trucks. The concerts are happening on Thursdays this summer, with a special performance night to close out the season.
On August 6, a special edition of the Concert in the Park is being held, called La Palma Celebrates Hometown Heroes. Community members are encouraged to honor local veterans and those actively in the military at Central Park’s Pavilion. A children's fun zone, local eats and other activities will be part of the event. That same night marks the Civic Expo and National Night Out event.
The concert series is presented by the City of La Palma’s Community Activities and Beautification Committee.
The city’s Central Park, where the concerts are being held, is one of the first major renovation projects enacted by La Palma, which was originally called Dairyland.
Concerts like this may choose to use flyer printing to create a talent list and other low-cost promotional material.
The other Concerts in the Park performances are on July 9, 16, 23 and 30 at 6:30 p.m. at La Palma Central Park at 7821 Walker St. in La Palma.
