Disneyland Resort will host the Tinker Bell Half-Marathon Weekend in spring of 2015. Runners from near-by communities, including La Palma, are expected to participate in the day’s activities.
The event takes place at Disneyland Resort and will be presented by PANDORA jewelry. The goal for runners is to earn their “real” wings with a fairytale finish straight from the storybooks.
The characters of Tinker Bell and Peter Pan will host the half marathon, bringing the sights and sounds from Never Never Land to the 13.1-mile route. The Tinker Bell Half Marathon Weekend is touted as “the most magical course on earth in a place where dreams come true”.
The route will take runners and walkers through the famous Disneyland Resort and will continue into the historic streets of Anaheim. At the finish line, a Tinker Bell finisher’s medal will be awarded.
Often, Banners are used for signage for marathon. The Banners are placed strategically throughout the event directing the participants as they run the course. Banner printing can be handled by a local Print company.
The Tinker Bell Half-Marathon Weekend will take place May 10, 2015, beginning at 5:30 am Registration is available online. Teams are encouraged, although each runner must sign up individually and then register as part of a team.
