Berkeley to hold science conference

The Cognitive Science Students Association will hold a convention at the Clark Kerr Campus in Berkeley.

The 15th Annual California Cognitive Science Conference is an event where students and professionals in the field of cognitive science can gather and learn from scientists from the industry. The theme for this year’s symposium is Pathways to Purpose: The Cognitive Pursuit of Clarity. The presentations at the conference will discuss human purpose and the modern world. There will also be a poster session that lets undergraduates share their research alongside professional researchers and graduate students.

The Cognitive Science Students Association is a group at UC Berkeley that supports college students interested in cognitive science. The college organization holds several events, such as guest lectures, student-teacher dinners, and themed gatherings. The disciplines of cognitive science include areas like philosophy, computer science, psychology, and linguistics. People can attend general meetings of the science association or apply to become an internal member.

The cognitive science conference will be held on Sunday, April 7th from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. General admission to the symposium will cost guests $20. Those who are students or teachers can get a discount on their tickets. There are also discounts available for people who want to participate in the virtual version of the conference. Student associations in charge of similar events may use banner printing to promote their symposiums to more people.
