Mesa to host October art and music event

Cosmic Art and Music Festival will bring electronic, reggae, rock, and hip-hop musicians to five glowing stages in North Mesa in early October.

Some musicians involved will be Sluggo, Johnny Monsoon, Creative Mind Psytrance, Sunnrays, Nathan J. Michael Garfield, FiAsko, and Not Your Shadow.

The venue will feature laser light shows and visual effects, art installations, and fun activities for everybody including children. A vendors’ village will have Hawaiian shaved ice, massages, Third Eye Rave Gear, and Burnt Offeringz. Live painters such as Tate VanCleve, Core Pours, and Favio Ulises Ramos will be creating artwork during the event.

Some of the scientific speakers will be Michael Garfield speaking on his Future Fossils Podcast, Daniel Hirtz on One is One, and Tyler Guion on Quantum Fields, Dark Matter, and Invariance Harmonics. Other scientific speakers will be Ethan Der Einzige speaking on Psychology & the Human Mind and Gez Abel on Astrology & Beyond.

Among the workshops signed up so far are Erica Maus Peterson demonstrating vinyasa flow yoga, Rudy Mejia discussing and showing turntablism and scratching, and Leo Must discussing empowering spirit through vision and voice.

Attendees at events such as this often ask their favorite workshop presenters, speakers, artists, and musicians for their businesses cards.

Cosmic Art and Music Festival will take place at Scanzona, 1901 N Alma School Road, on October 8 from 3:00 pm to 3:00 am.
