Mesa goes to farm for Christmas

Many here in Mesa will be heading to a couple of local farms to enjoy the upcoming holiday season.

Tickets to Christmas at Schnepf Farms, will include the sleigh bell slide, Santa's Deer Hayride, bonfires, snow globe mini golf, a trip through Santa's toy shop, and a ride on the carousel. Other ticket amenities will be Christmas movies, ice skating, Santa Claus meet-and-greet, holiday light displays, inflatable obstacle course, letters to Santa and games.

Guests that get their pictures taken at photo opts like the Giant Christmas Photo ops at this event can take the photos to local Stationery printers to be used in this year's Christmas cards.

Christmas at Schnepf Farms located at 24810 S Rittenhouse Road, Queen Creek, will run November 29th - December 1st, December 5th - 8th, and December 12th - 24th.

Here in Mesa, Vertuccio Farms will be holding their Christmas Fest event with a walk-through Winter Wonderland of millions of lights strung over its 10-acres synchronized to festive holiday music. Activities will include a synthetic ice arena, petting zoo, games, miniature golf, pony rides and pallet maze.

Each weekend, the festival will offer a Mistletoe Marketplace with more than 40 vendors sell Christmas items. Santa meet-and-greets will be on December 6-8th and December 13th - 23rd. Guests may take pictures with Santa on these designated days and family pictures at the Giant Ornament all during the event.

Vertucccio Farms Christmas Fest, located at 4011 S Poser Road, will take place daily from December 4th to 23rd.
