Mesa dogs invited to gala

Mesa dogs and their owners are invited to attend Mutt Masquerade 2018, a fundraiser for the Arizona Animal Rescue Mission, in September. Jose Santiago and Anita Roman will be the emcees for the event.

Pooches will want to come in costume for the Pet Costume contest. A photo booth will be set up with special doggie props for owners and their pets to get some good pictures of themselves and their buddies.

A live auction and a silent one will keep attendees bidding on the items they want. A caricature artist will be coming around the tables to draw likenesses of both pets and owners.

A bar will be set up especially for dogs. It will offer doggie treats and toys. A gourmet buffet will be available for people as well as a dessert table.

Individual people tickets will be $125 each, and pooch tickets will run $20. Tables of 10 guests per table are available at three sponsorship levels.

Proceeds from this event will go to support the programs and needs of the Arizona Animal Rescue Mission’s Maricopa Animal Care and Control. Local animal organizations running events like these may want to get some flyer printing to get the word out.

Mutt Masquerade 2018 will take place at the Mesa Country Club, 660 West Fairway Drive, Saturday September 22nd from 5 pm until 8 pm.
