Help Celebrate Mesa 2018 takes place in a few days. The community event will be free and family-friendly.
Little ones can play in the Tot Spot Toddler Area and those a little older can participate in kids’ games and hop around in the bounce houses. Older kids can go through the Haunted Bus, attend a BMX Stunt Show, experience a Dino Encounter, and keep on the lookout for Superheroes.
All kids and teens will want to get $5 wristbands in order to ride all the carnival rides. All guests are invited to wear their Halloween costumes so they can receive special prizes.
Part of the music for the event will be the Battle of the Bands, which will be on the Your Place to Play Stage. Contestants are composed of local high school and junior high bands. The winner will receive a recording session.
Music will also be located on the Main Stage. The Mongollon Band will play songs like Copperhead Road, Sharkey, He’ll Have to Go, and The Boat Song. Other entertainment will be provided by Mad Science.
Local businesses will be distributing Promotional Products, coupons, and copious other giveaways. Food trucks will be vending fall treats and the free movie will be ‘Coco’.
Celebrate Mesa is slated for Saturday, October 20 from 5:00 pm until 9:00 pm at the Red Mountain Soccer Complex, 905 N. Sunvalley Blvd. The movie will start at 7:30 pm.
