The Easter Bunny will be having a meet-and-greet at Mesa’s Vertuccio Farms later this month. Also, the traditional egg hunt will be divided into two areas – one for children of four years and younger and the other for those aged 16 and under.
The farm also has several play structures, train rides, and animals for the little ones to pet. Although snack-type food will be available, such as kettle corn and other items via an onsite food truck, bringing a picnic lunch is suggested as part of the family experience.
The fee for the event will be $10 per child—all those not participating in the hunt (such as parents and infants) get in free of charge. The Easter Bunny will be glad to pose with children and their families for pictures for later postcard printing. Family-owned since 1979, Vertuccio Farms is also available for field trips, birthday parties, and other special events.
As only 300 tickets will be available at the door, it is advised that participants RSVP on Facebook or at the farm’s website to get a dollar off the admission price and to secure a space.
The Easter event will be held April 19, starting at 10:00 am at Vertuccio Farms, 4011 S. Power Road, Mesa. The farm itself opens at 9:00 am and closes at 1:00 pm.
