Mesa comic fans and those interested in other genres, such as movies, animation, and television, will want to add some important dates to their must-attend Calendars.
The 2014 Comic Media Expo is gearing up for its inaugural run in a couple of weeks. The three-day event will feature well-known guests, autograph sessions, cosplay contests, and an exhibit hall.
Special appearances will include those from well-known writers like T. M. Williams, author of the Bohemian Grove trilogy, along with urban fantasy writer Deena Remiel and sci-fi and fantasy author Matthew Cerra.
Also, artists such as Mark Greenawalt will be there, specializing in body painting. There will also be award-winning cosplayers such as Monika Lee. Guests will include Janet Varner from Nickelodeon’s Avatar series, and Marv Wolfman, a Marvel and DC writer.
One of the panels will be consist of a make-and-take workshop for creating leather steampunk goggles. Also, visitors will be able to participate in Cosplay and badge contests. Sponsorships are available for both digital and Print programs; 158x58 digital pixel images will be placed on media platforms and Print companies will be turning out programming guides as well.
