Gold's Gym, one of the most-recognized names in physical fitness, is planning to open a location in Chandler. The company is returning to Arizona after six years away.
The facility will be located in Sunset Plaza on West Ray Road. The gym will comprise about 40,000 square feet, and offer amenities and equipment that are state-of-the-art. Included in the design are two separate areas covered with turf, to be used in both athletic and functional training. Massage chairs, a pool, and a sauna are also in the plans.
In addition, the location will offer proprietary Gold’s Studio classes — Gold’s Cycle, Gold’s Burn, and Gold’s Fit. Group exercise classes will also be offered, along with a Kids’ Club, personal trainers, and 3D body scanners. Potential members can choose from various options, and the first 1,000 people to join will receive a free T-shirt.
