Easter celebration returns to Chandler

Chandler is hosting its annual Easter celebration for families at Dr. A.J. Chandler Park this April.

The headlining event is the 24 Karrot trail, a free activity for children nine years old and younger.

With accommodations in place this year to allow for more participants, the 24 Karrot trail involves people collecting eggs, which can be redeemed for a goody bag at the concluding ceremonies. The redeemed eggs are then recycled and redistributed to the 24 Karrot trails. Participants are asked not to open the eggs, but take them to redemption booths.

“Gold” is the theme tying the entire event together. A Golden Egg Ticket is a rare prize that can be found in the 24 Karrot trail event, and can be redeemed for a bonus goody bag. In addition, the Golden Karrot is a hidden award that can be redeemed for a special prize.

There are also live performances, crafting stations, and children’s games. A coloring contest, dancing demonstrations, family Easter basket giveaways, inflatable attractions, carnival games, food vendors, and merchandise are all part of the festivities.

Holiday celebrations like this may choose to use Print shops to create greeting cards.

The Family Easter Celebration is happening on Friday, April 3 from 5:30 pm to 8:30 pm at the Dr. A.J. Chandler Park: Stage Plaza at 178 E Commonwealth Ave in Chandler.
