The Phoenix Valley is home to many different countries and cultures, all with their own cuisine. Now, an event is planned to allow attendees to have a taste of many of them.
The Taste of the World International Food Festival will be held at SoHo63, where participants will share their favorite foods from across the world. In addition, musical artists will also be sharing the sounds of their culture.
At present, food purveyors scheduled to take part are Johnson's Colossal Creations, who will bring American desserts; the Chinoz Grill, which is Asian fusion; the Mamalita Soda bar, which serves Filipino and other Asian cuisines; Texas BBQ courtesy of Charlie's Smoke Wagon; Somali cuisine from Hoyo Kitchen; and French cuisine from Cuisine by Celine.
Planned entertainment includes rapper Ashton Vaughn Charles, who will be in the VIP room. Performers who will appear on the Terrace are Solu the Artist, along with her dancers; and the Arizona Music Force. There will also be a special appearance by Miles King. The Gramercy Ballroom will welcome Color Me Art.
Organizers remind people the event is for people 21 years of age and above, and food is not included with admission. However, every vendor will have at least one item available for $5, so everyone can sample the various cuisines.
Taste of the World is set for January 31, 2021, from 12:00 pm until 6:00 pm. Flyer printing can be useful in creating handouts listing vendors at events like this.
