The Chandler Youth Theatre is recruiting talent, ages 5-8, for their upcoming The Addams Family Musical.
The show is part of the Musical Theater Kids Club, a year-long education program at Chandler Youth Theater designed to give children an introduction to the world of stagecraft, the art of movement and weaving a narrative together through music.
The Addams Family Musical rehearsal begins in late July, and meets weekly on Tuesdays, with the performance itself slated for November 1 and 2. The workshops will build the foundation for the skills needed to excel in theater, including working as a team and fostering creativity.
There is a class limit of 20 students for each show. However, every student who makes it in to the class will be given attention and opportunities to have their moment in the spotlight. There is also a monthly tuition required.
Other shows for Chandler Youth Theater summer camps include those for Wicked!, Taylor Swift and Moana Jr. Previous performances from earlier this year included Frozen Kids and Shrek Kids.
Children’s theater groups like this may choose to use Stationery printers to help with either promotional materials or even set designs.
The Addams Family Kids Tuesday Cast begins on July 22 from 4:30 p.m. to 6 p.m. at the Musical Theater Kids Club at Chandler Youth Theatre at 1100 N Alma School Rd #1.
