A tasty event is on the way to Chandler, and everyone is invited.
The Arizona Bao and Dumpling Festival will be held in Downtown Chandler, where visitors will find vendors offering a variety of dumplings and baos – some traditional, others more creative.
A bao is a type of dumpling that acts as a full meal, and the upcoming event will feature different styles of these treats, from the more familiar potsticker to the lesser-known takoyaki. Most of the participating dumpling and bao vendors will have at least one item on their Menus that costs $5 or less. Other Asian dishes, desserts, and boba tea will be available at regular prices.
In addition, local artists are offering their works in a curated marketplace, and free games will be available for everyone to enjoy.
The Dumpling Festival is scheduled for Saturday, March 6, at 3 South Arizona Avenue in Downtown Chandler. The event runs from 12:30 pm until 5:00 pm. Admission is $10 for adults, $4 for children from ages seven through twelve, and there is no admission charge for children six and under. All attendees must have a ticket, even if they are admitted free, and organizers recommend that people bring cash to make their purchases. Banner printing can be used to create colorful decorations for outdoor events like this.
