An event for the whole family is scheduled for Chandler.
The city is holding its annual Family Easter Celebration, and has made some changes to keep everyone safe and healthy.
There are two decorated Easter trails families may follow. The trails have the same features, and each is about a half-mile long and can be covered in about 20 minutes. Children 12 years of age and younger will be given a goodie bag. Banner printing can be used to create decorations for outdoor events like this.
Families are required to pre-register in order to take part in the Trail Stroll, but only one registration is required for a group of up to eight people. However, there is a limit of four children under 12 per reservation, and only those children will be given goodie Bags. Masks are required to be worn at all times.
An email will be sent to all registrations before the event, explaining trail etiquette, procedures for checking in, and parking arrangements. People are asked to be on time for their slot and must check in with a city staff member. The person holding the reservation for the group will need to present a photo ID as well. Reservations will be held for ten minutes after the designated time and then released to others.
The Easter Trail Stroll is set for April 3 from 10.00 am until 3.00 pm, at Tumbleweed Park.
