People who enjoy music in the style of Counting Crows, the Eagles, and the Dave Matthews Band should make plans to attend the upcoming Sonoran Sunset concert, when Kings For The People will be playing their original music.
Kings For The People take inspiration from the aforementioned bands to create music driven by acoustic guitars, an electric guitar on lead, passionate vocals, and a rhythm section that takes inspiration from everything from Latin, to punk rock, to country music.
Concerts in the Sonoran Sunset Series are free, and take place at the Environmental Education Center in Veterans Oasis Park in Chandler. The concerts are family-friendly, and give local bands a chance to share their music in a casual atmosphere. Since the venue is outdoors, attendees are encouraged to bring blankets or folding chairs; they may also sit on the amphitheater's walls if they wish.
Several hundred people often attend these concerts, so guests might like to arrive early. If the weather takes a turn for the worse, the show will move indoors. In addition, people are welcome to bring their own food, or purchase light refreshments at the park. Organizers of events like this can use banner printing to create festive decorations to enhance the performance.
The Kings For The People appear on November 15 starting at 6:00 pm. The park is on East Chandler Heights Road.
