Dance center schedules Chandler performance

Proud parents, as well as those who simply like to watch dance, have a treat coming up.

Marilyn Bostics Ballet Centre (MBBC) students will perform in Chandler to welcome the summer. Dancers at the center are able to study a variety of styles including contemporary, tap, jazz, pointe, classical and pre-ballet, lyrical, acro, Broadway theater, and hip-hop.

MBBC Dance prides itself on providing a non-competitive, friendly atmosphere that creates a positive experience for students in which they can learn and grow, no matter their age or skill level. Beginners—even adults who have always wanted to learn to dance—are always welcome.

Instructors at the school are professional dancers and include Marilyn Bostic, who began the venture. Bostic was a principal soloist with the University of Texas Ballet Company, and Ballet El Paso. Lani Shiota, who specializes in Roadway dance and dance for musical theater was a professional dancer in San Francisco, and ballet instructor Alison Johnson was trained by Alan Baker, who was a soloist with the Royal Ballet.

Brochure printing is an excellent tool to use to create programs for events like this, as they can offer biographical information about performers.

At the time of this writing, the performance is scheduled for 7:00 pm on June 11, at the Chandler Center for the Arts. Interested parties should contact the venue in case there are any changes to the schedule.
