Crayola Experience Chandler now open

Smith Holland, the CEO of Crayola, and Kevin Hartke, the mayor of Chandler, recently participated in a ribbon cutting celebrating the opening of the Crayola Experience Chandler.

The Crayola Experience covers about 20,000 square feet, and has 19 activities for children and families to enjoy. The area is adjacent to a retail space covering 4,000 square feet, where people can buy souvenirs and Crayola products. Facilities like this can use brochure printing to list all the attractions available.

Guests at the Experience can participate in such activities as Wrap It Up!, where they name and wrap a crayon of their own; or they can Be A Star by starring in their own coloring book page. They can also have a Meltdown, where they create a masterpiece by using melted wax, or take part in the interactive Color Magic, where a 3-D image appears to come to life.

The Chandler location is the fifth Crayola Experience to open in the nation. Although the company is best known as a maker of crayons, it has developed over 1,500 proprietary technologies and products that enable it to create interactive facilities like the Experience. The Experience is open every day throughout the year, from 10 am until 8 pm Monday through Saturday, and 10 am to 6 pm on Sunday. Admission is $13.99 online and $14.99 at the door, but an annual pass at $29.99 can be a great money saver for frequent visitors.
