Fried chicken may be a common dish throughout the United States, but Korean fried chicken is not easy to find. In fact, the first such restaurant in the East Valley area of Phoenix, which includes has just opened.
Korean-style fried chicken like that available at the Crazy Chicken & Crab differs from its more familiar counterpart mainly in the sauces used on it. Ingredients like vinegar, garlic, and Korean fermented chili paste add unusual flavors to the poultry.
The new restaurant moved into the space formerly housing Chino Bandido, located at Dotson Road and Chandler Boulevard. The menu offers 10 different types of Korean fried chicken, as well as wings, crab, and assorted side dishes.
Fried chicken is extremely popular in Korea, and is also a favorite in Southern California, where there are many such restaurants. The dish has also become popular in New York in the last decade, but is still catching on in other areas of the country. Now, Chandler has a chance to see what all the fuss is about.
The Crazy Chicken & Crab is open Monday through Saturday, from 11:00 am to 9:00 pm. In order to help build business, owners might like to work with a flyer printing company, perhaps including a coupon to bring in new customers to try what will be unfamiliar food to many.
