As people head out to do their holiday shopping, those who call Chandler and the surrounding area home ought to be reminded that there is a very important gift to give this season.
The Red Cross has partnered with Arizona Elite Properties to run a Blood Drive in mid-December. It will be open in the morning and afternoon, and appointments can be made in advance.
This mobile donor station will be set up in the Training Room at 2425 S. Stearman Drive. Appointments may be booked online or by calling 1-800-733-2767.
The process can be performed quickly. After they arrive, the donors will be greeted, and are asked to fill out a brief questionnaire and undergo a health check. Once completed, the donors can make their contribution.
Following this, they will receive some light refreshments before they head out to enjoy the rest of their day, knowing they have made a difference.
To thank those who choose to give the gift of life, the Red Cross will be distributing gift cards to the donors. Many not-for-profit groups choose to present branded promotional Pens or other gifts to their supporters to thank them for their assistance.
The opportunity to help someone in need this holiday season is scheduled for December 15. The station will be open from 9:00am until 2:00pm.
