Those who would like to join the ranks of the Chandler Police Department are encouraged to attend an upcoming event.
The Department has scheduled a “Find the Blue in You” recruiting activity for early August, and it will take place at the Chandler Public Safety Training Center. It will welcome those who are considering a career in law enforcement as a staff member or police officer, and it will provide a variety of information to the attendees.
The session will explore the various open positions in the department, and the presenter will discuss the requirements and benefits that will be provided. There will be time for a question-and-answer session with currently serving officers, and attendees will be able to learn about the mock oral boards and the POPAT/Physical Fitness Test coming up.
First responders serve their communities with pride, and recruitment events help to keep their ranks full. Information packages that include materials prepared by a brochure printing company are often distributed during these sessions.
The Chandler Police Department has set Saturday, August 3 as the date for this activity. It will begin at 9:00 am with check-in beginning at 8:30 am.
