Chandler already set to celebrate 4th of July

Plans are already underway for a huge July event in Chandler.

The city is already organizing its 4th of July celebration, with a fireworks show as the centerpiece of the evening. The fireworks will be handled by professional pyrotechnicians, and the city is banning personal sparklers and fireworks from both the park and the parking lots surrounding it. The 4th this year will be a socially distanced event.

In order to make sure everyone is safe and has a good time, Chandler has devised specific regulations for the event. First, vehicles will be escorted to assigned spots by parking attendants, and in addition, 30 feet will be left between vehicles. It is up to those attending whether or not to remain inside or leave the vehicle, but if they do, they must adhere to guidelines for social distancing, and remain on one side of the vehicle.
In addition to banning sparklers and fireworks, there is no alcohol, grilling, or tailgating allowed. In addition, the park is closed except for the restrooms. Further, there will be no concessions operating this year, and no live entertainment. However, banner printing can be used to create fun, festive decorations for events like this.

The date, of course, is July 4, from 7.30 pm until 9.30 pm in Tumbleweed Park on South McQueen Road. The Fireworks Spectacular itself is set for 9.00 pm.
